WELL DONE!!

To all members that ran the Soweto Marathon as well as the Rudamans Kaapsehoop as well as achieving your expected times.

Sean, Dawie, Darrel and Johanny did the Golden Reef 100 miler 24 September 2010
They were third (3) overall in a time of 13hours14min over 160km.

LICENCE NUMBERS AND FEES:

2010 fees R100.00 for current/ongoing membership
New members pay R300.00
Juniors – free
Club vests can be purchased at a price of a R150.00 each. (which is excluded in the membership fee).

NB: Licence Numbers are all sold out. Any runners that require licence numbers for 2010 races will need to buy temporary licence numbers.

RUNNING VESTS

All runners are requests to produce their receipt upon collection of running vests from Kishore Nana - 0727079243

Preparations are well on the way. We are in for a bumper 29th Johnson Crane partnership. Entry forms will be available at the next upcoming races as well as the online entries.

As this is a major event of our club and as always membership participation makes the event a success, we are looking forward to every members support as it always has been in the past. More information to follow in the next newsletter.

SECONDHAND RUNNING SHOES

Anyone interested in a pair of second hand running shoes please contact Derek on 082 779 0487 as he has a size 10½ running shoes which is in reasonable condition.

NB: If anyone has second hand Running Shoes/Vests please do not hesitate to hand it over to Dhevika Singh as it will be given to the underprivileged.

• Club runs are happening from Old Bens on Monday and Wednesday at 18h00.
• Sunday Training runs are still happening from the BP Garage in Benoni from 6:30pm. All members are welcome to join.
• Licence Numbers must be worn in the back and front at every race. This has just started and is very important because if they do find you with no number in front you will be disqualified
